Celebration of Vachak Saptah

Shailendra Degree College Library celebrated “Vachak Saptah” from 1st March 2019 till 7th March 2019 wherein students presented Book Reviews on the selected books through powerpoint presentations. There were a total of 27 participants who were guided by 10 mentors. The winners were selected Author wise and language-wise. Five Best Mentors were also selected among ten mentors. All the participants were felicitated with a book so as to encourage them to participate in more numbers in such a kind of activity.

LIBRARY NOTICE - OPEN ON SUNDAYS AND BANK HOLIDAYS

12th March 2019

Students are required to note that –

1. Library reading room will be OPEN on Sundays and Bank Holidays from 17thMarch 2019 onwards during Examination period till further notice.
2. Timing of the Reading room: 10 am to 5 pm.
3. On Sundays and Bank Holidays, when Library Reading Room will be opened for Students, they are expected to sit in the Library reading room and not in the Classroom or Canteen or loiter in the campus. Strict disciplinary action will be taken against the students who will be found in the classrooms/ Canteen for reading / discussion during Sundays and Bank Holidays.
